I have voted in every presidential election since the year I was old enough to register. (What’s that make, 7, 8 elections?) As a registered Republican, I voted because it was my patriotic duty, and had to convince myself every election that I was doing the right thing.
This year, I proudly changed my political affiliation to the Democratic party, and cast my vote in the primary for Barack Obama.

I was the first person at the Poll in my district that morning.

I am embarassed by the posturing buffoon that sits in the Oval Office at this time. I am frightened by the glowering person who stands a heartbeat away from the presidency at this time.
This is the first year I am truly thrilled to be part of a great change, and yes, call ME a bleeding heart liberal, and I will shake your hand.
